new unique sweatshirt Alexander McQueen Alexander McQueen (1969 - ) English fashion designer Alexander McQueen was born in London, England. On leaving school he worked in Savile Row, then in Milan with Romeo Gigli. In 1994 Alexander McQueen received his Masters degree when his graduation collection was bought by Isabella Blow. This effectively launched his fashion career and he soon became a designer for the Givenchy fashion house. Alexander McQueen remained with Givenchy from 1996 until 2001 during which time he released a number of controversial collections. Alexander McQueen has since collaborated with Gucci and Puma.
