Calvin Klein - (1942 - ) American fashion designer Calvin Klein was born in New York, USA.  After graduating in 1962 Calvin Klein became Dan Millstein's assistant before setting up his own business.  In the 70's Calvin Klein launched the original 'designer jeans' range and in the 80's a range of perfumes and his revolutionary men's underwear.  Today Calvin Klein's multi billion dollar business empire has separate divisions across the globe.
