Fashion Designer John Galliano John Galliano John Galliano - (1960 - ) British-Gibraltarian fashion designer John Galliano was born in Gibraltar and moved to London as a child. Following his studying John Galliano's graduation collection was sold to 'Browns' afterwhich he started his own label. In the 90's John Galliano relocated to Paris and in 1995 was appointed designer at Givenchy. In 1996 John Galliano moved to Christian Dior and continued designing for both his own label and Dior until March 2011. At this time John Galliano was dismissed by Dior as a result of allegations of anti-semitism, the allegations referred to an alledged incident in a Paris bar which its claimed involved John Galliano and another couple.
