David Ngog, the Liverpool and France footballer, was born 01 April 1989 in Gennevilliers, France. As a schoolboy and youth player David Ngog showed great potential which led to him signing his first professional contract as a 17 year old with Paris Saint-Germain. After signing his contract in June 2006 David Ngog made a total of 18 appearances for the French side scoring 1 goal, during this time he also made an impact on the French national youth team with a number of impressive performances.

David Ngog was relatively unknown when he was signed on a four year contract by Premier League side Liverpool FC on 24 July 2008. Liverpool FC manager Rafael Benitez credited the club's scouting system for finding David Ngog who was signed for just £1.5 million, he made his debut one week after signing in a pre-season friendly against Villareal. David Ngog scored a couple of goals in pre-season friendlies too before making his competitive debut on 30 August 2008 as a substitute in a Premier League match against Aston Villa. David Ngog's first competitive goal came on 09 December 2008 in a 3-1 Champions League victory over PSV Eindhoven, two months later on 07 February 2009 he made his full debut in the Premier League and his first Premier League goal came against Sunderland on 03 March 2009.
